Opening of solo exhibition by Rasmus Degnbol: a new body of works on hazardous small air-pollution particles.
Rasmus is an award-winning documentary photographer, author and filmmaker, focusing on new age storytelling.
He is a masterclass mentee at the world-renowned VII Photo Agency in New York (2014-15). His project Europe’s New Borders is no on view at NYU Shanghai Art Gallery until May 30.

An Associate Professor at Nanjing University, School of Business, and Adjunct Professor at Hopkins-Nanjing Center (Johns Hopkins University, School of Advanced International Studies). His research is mainly on globalization and environmental sustainability.

Asia Pacific Director of Alliance for Water Stewardship (AWS). AWS is a global NGO-based in UK and Australia-that works with companies and governments throughout the world to improve company water use.
Lindsey Fine, founder of Happy Buddha:
Between running Happy Buddha, her vegetarian restaurant, making and selling Serenity Seitan, a high protein meat substitute, and launching a vegan ice cream line, Lindsey makes creations that answer any lingering cravings someone on a challenging diet might experience
Christina Freddie, founder Goma Greens:
Christina is committed to bring healthy vegetables to Shanghai families, while at the same time supporting the small farmers that supply the produce. She has been working with Corporate Social Responsibility for a global healthcare company for more than 13 years.
Heather Kaye, co-founder of Finch Designs:
FINCH eco-swimwear is made responsibly in China exclusively from Repreve recycled PET bottles. Recognized for their signature prints, FINCH has become a premium resource for the eco-conscious consumer. Heather is a graduate of Harvard University (AB '96) and Parsons School of Design (AAS '99).

Although joined SynTao very recently, Yifei has been working on environmental issues for long time. He has been working for WWF for almost 10 yrs, and now working at SynTao Green Finance to provide Socially responsible investment (SRI) services.
Nitin Dani, founder of Green Initiatives:
An architect by profession and an environmentalist at heart. Nitin co-founded e8 Resources, an entrepreneurial venture facilitating clean technology solutions for the Chinese market, while also co-founding Green Initiatives (formerly “Green Drinks China”).
Wuding, founder of Veggie Dorm:
The founder of Shanghai’s environmental and plant-based health education organization Veggie Dorm, which hosts roughly 100 other events each year. While Veggie Dorm focuses on global ideals, he believes in a connection between their dietary ethics and Chinese traditions.
Alizée, founder of Zero Waste Shanghai:
Alizée thrives to offer easy tools and solutions to help people who want to reduce their carbon footprint. She's currently a researcher in Circular Economy, and she holds an MSc in Luxury and Design Management with a specialization in Sustainable Design and Management solutions.
Being 'Zero Waste' means that you reduce the waste you send to landfill, and consequently, your impact on your health and the environment. Getting into this lifestyle is not easy, especially in China. However, Zero Waste Shanghai helps you by teaching hands on how to do it.
The workshops last about 1 hour, and at the end you will go home with hand made toothpaste, face wash and face mask that are natural, good for you and the environment.

The environmental and sustainability organization of NYU Shanghai- Green Shanghai is a platform for student, faculty, and any community member to learn more about current global environmental issues and the sustainable available solutions. With events including lectures, workshops and community service, Green Shanghai raises the awareness for environmental problems and encourages its members to take an active part in creating the change they want to see.
GoGreen Week is an NYU Shanghai student-led initiative that aims to raise awareness of environmental issues and sustainable solutions, and inspire others to take action, through a variety of events covering animal protection, ecological businesses, environmental NGOs, food production, and sustainable development.
